Laurentiu Calciu has studied Mathematics at Bucharest University and filmmaking at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK. He was co-author of several films in Greece: Athine (1994), A Journey in Time (1998), Men at Sea (2003, 1st Prize at the Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival) and author of:
